Anything from the Dead Sea by Ahava. I had one sample nail done by an Israeli at a Brooklyn mall and bought the soap and crystals (exfoliant). Gave one of those soaps to Lisa Loeb. Said it might turn her to Chava Alberstein (Israeli folk singer). Maybe that's why she's dating someone now (did you hear the sound of a heart break?) That's gratitude for you, Zsa Zsa.

The one product I can't live without is Merle Norman's Luxiva Lasting Foundation. It has great coverage, goes on dry so that I don't have to use powder, and does NOT melt off like liquid foundations (which is very important in FL's heat and humidity). The only problem is that it's so lasting that it doesn't come off with soap and water. MN sells a cleanser that gets it off but I've found that Biore make up remover face cloths will do the trick.

Hi Fish,

I've been reading for a while, but this is the first time I'm commenting :) Let me just say that I really love your blog; I've been reading for about 2 years now, and greatly enjoy how you write as well as the anecdotes you share. Thanks for having brightened up many gloomy days with your sense of humor!

Now I'll confess that I delurked because this entry is particularly relevant to a question on social media that I'm trying to answer at the moment. I hope it's okay? I'm taking a look at how the power of blogging has become such that companies (e.g. magazines like Glamour and its online counterpart!) want to actively engage bloggers to promote their products or services, or just to ask to be featured on the blogger's site in order to reach certain audiences.

If you wouldn't mind helping, could you please hop over to www.prsocialmedia.blogspot.com to answer 3 simple questions? 2 are multiple-choice, so it'll really only take a second, and I'm definitely interested to know what your thoughts might be, being such a successful blogger yourself and having from time to time already reviewed or recommended certain products!
