My favorite way to celebrate my Birthday Week (you have to say it with capitals, for the gravitas) is to use the glory it bestows upon me to add weight to my vote in any decision made during that time. For example:

Me: Can we play Scrabble and eat burritos for dinner?

BF: I'd rather watch the game.

Me: But it's my Birthday Week. . .
