Olde Mistick Village in Mystic is fantastically lovely, and probably has that lavender feeling you&#039;re looking for.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;And the grey days make it even better, surprisingly.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;Or you can always go the Julia Roberts route, and have lunch at Mystic Pizza :)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;I miss that place a lot...I was just there in December.  Made my faux-boyfriend drive me there, to the pretty graveyard on the water, and sit in the snow until we couldn&#039;t feel our toes.  Good times.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

It is perfectly situated 2 hours from NYC and Boston...I never appreciated it as a kid, but I do now.  I travel between Boston and NYC once in a while and the train rule is this...sit on the left side leaving Boston, and the right side leaving New York.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
