They have a new “riverwalk” area downtown…a minor league baseball team…tons of small town charm…decent shopping and several good restaurants. ALSO…the OKC Bombing Memorial is superb and so very tasteful.

If none of that works you can drive down Route 66 and thank god you are from Texas.

Wonderful for the wine tasting/drinking and the wandering around looking at pretty shiny things. Boerne has some great wandering shops, so does New Braunfels and Gruene - just stay in N.
