I sleep in the shower. I can say, “I am the man in the chicken suit” in flawless French. I can’t argue without crying, or cry without getting embarrassed. I love to clean.

I sleep with one leg straight and one leg bent, which makes sharing a bed smaller than a king a challenge. The movie, The Little Princess makes me cry. So does Armegedon. I’ve seen The Land Before Time more than 200 times (I was taught how to control the VCR at 3). I have short legs and short fingers. I can bake, but I can’t cook to save my life.

I am very intuitive. I wake up almost every day at 5:40, though I usually go back to sleep. I have never been pregnant. I hate The Godfather. I can’t curl my tongue.

I enjoy small spaces. I love roller coasters. And raisins, especially in salads and oatmeal. I find it impossible to sleep on airplanes. I’m not good at being gentle with people. I don’t like being patronized. I like autonomy. I love being alone.

I press the snooze button for an hour every morning. I am always just on time to school. I am usually the last to leave. I need a watch, the pictures in my wallet, and Chapstick. I crave constancy. It’s very hard to surprise me. I snort when I laugh. I can’t make machine gun sound effects. I have never broken a bone.

I really do love to clean.
