When I was a young chippie, people used to always say I looked like Molly... although, the only real resemblance was short red hair and freckles. (I've gotten other celebrity "you look likes" too, which has, I'll admit, cause a slight obsession on my part with identifying what celebrity every person looks like.)

But the point: you could say, in a way, that a Molly lookalike already regularly reads your blog & comments. It's not really the same thing at all, but I would have bought you a drink even if you had spilled stuff on me, and my "second" prom dress looked remarkably similar to the PiP one (accidentally). Plus, I would NOT have had you escorted out for the lipstick thing.

Anyway.

I completely grok your collective sigh though. I just loved Duckie's shoes.

I thought that dress was the coolest the first time I saw the movie. But when I watched P in P again recently I was sort of shocked at how little it resembled the dress in my memory. It was sort of sack-ey! It’s funny the things you think are cool as a kid.
