Ugh. Nothing is more annoying to me than people who obsess over professional sports. It’s empty and pointless, embarrassing even- I don’t get it at all.

And nipping at the heels of the football is the endless, ENDLESS cacaphony of squeaking sneakers on hardwood..the basketball, pro and college, including March Madness. Where incessant, inane yammering is perfected into an art form by the announcers. By May I shall be all out of heavy sighs and the ability to roll my eyes even one more time.

Another non-lover of The Football here. I just don’t care, unless one team in the Superbowl is a huge underdog/hasn’t won a Superbowl ever or in a really long time. Then I’ll root for them. (Unless it’s the Cowboys. I will NEVER cheer for the Cowboys.) So I’m rooting for the Saints.

It’s like that in our house too. I wasn’t allowed to root for the Jets b/c the man dislikes them more than Manning. It’s a guy thing with the NE/NY rivalry component…
