I can't remember what it was that you've written before, but I really thought you were of the Not Into God persuasion. When I read this post, I thought you were speaking metaphorically, but after reading these comments it sounds like I was wrong. I suppose it really isn't any of my business what your religious beliefs are, but when one reads another person's blog and feels like they can relate to them (even if it's in a presumed agnosticism or atheism) it's kind of nice. I feel like that's the story of my life, until a few years ago when I just ran out of ideas to make it work and said to God, "Okay - have at it." It was ugly there for awhile during God's demolition phase, but I can honestly say that the mid-term results have been pretty spectacular - in tangible ways that matter (work, lovelife, friendships, family, overall happiness...you know, that stuff :)) I don't think that's just for me, but for all of us if we opt in.
