Maddie has yet to poke me in the eye, but she did attempt to lick my lips at 5 am to wake me up this morning. Needless to say, this did not help me get out of bed to play with her.

Odd how life is. This weekend I watched my brothers four cats (with all disasters and hi-jix attached) and also one of my best friends from work was sitting at home with her cat, who has cancer. Spent many hours on the phone with her weeping. I believe as I write this she is bringing her fuzzy friend to the vet to be put to sleep. Enjoy their attention, no matter how insane it is, I say.

Why is "Fish" loading so slowing? Anyone else experiencing a lag on this one site?

Did he say "Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk" after he did it?

I used to have a cat who would attack my legs when I was under the covers. This was not the playful "pounce the yarn" kind of attack. She was like a Terrier down a rat hole. Only the blanket stood between me and a serious puncture wound.

Love your sight, have you linked.

One time, in my teenage years, I picked up a stray cat who happened into our yard. At first he was nice and calm. For no known reason (cats rarely have a reason), he suddenly freaked out and not only clawed the hell outta my face, but also got some claws stuck inside my nostril. That was awful. And traumatic. I no longer attempt to hold stray cats, though. Your incident with the eyeball sounds much worse. Oh, another anecdote this reminds me of: my mother once scratched her cornea with her own thumbnail. Don't ask me how ... but she had to wear a patch after that one. Get well wishes to you! A patch would be kinda cool if you can pull it off, pirate-style.
