thank you for this. i honestly thought that we were the only couple spending an entire saturday watching tv series (currently it's THE WIRE, before that THE WEST WING, before that SOPRANOS and so on and so on). at least no one else i know does.people look at us as if we are the most dysfunctional couple, EVER. so, what a relief, i love that you guys do the same!!! (tomorrow is a holiday in Germany and i am actually thankful for the bad weather forecast - does this go to far?)

OK, so I have been reading your blog for well over two years now, and I have to say that I love you. It's true, I love you. I'm sure had we ever met in real life we would be great friends. You are honest to the core, and that is so rare these days. I don't care what anyone says, I, for one, appreciate you telling it like it is. Like so many women, I too have been through the highs and lows of dating, childhood trauma/drama, and endless career/soul searching. I love that you remain true to yourself; pain, hope, romanticism, threats of ending up alone with wine induced cat-loving utopia and all...and yet you are brave enough week in and week out to bear your soul to the masses...something I would never be brave enough to do. I find myself rooting for you, because, perhaps in a twisted way, I feel like we (women) are in this muck together, and your stories give me hope and help me laugh at my own absurdities. For this, I sincerely appreciate you and I wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, and joy.

I love Dexter; I watched the entire second season in two days. I've seen the first three seasons, and I think the first is probably the best of the three but I've heard that the fourth is really good too - can't wait until it's available on Netflix!

Bones is not as well written (plotwise) but I'm hooked on the characters! I saw a few minutes of the current season (I'm a couple of seasons behind) and I cannot believe they have not hooked up yet! Ok, maybe I can...but still, get on with it already!

Don't even talk to me about Law & Order - those marathons seriously just eat my time.

Surprisingly none of those shows scare me.. but have you seen The Lovely Bones? Sleepless night after that one.

Oh, come on now. Don't allude to stuff four seasons down the road. That's just rude.
