BW likes to write about himself. Snore. The self-importance. And when will he have yet another album out?

There's a bunch of space in this comment box that's making me itch in anticipation. I also feel slightly starstruck and intimidated writing in a space that you normally fill, but I'm reassured with the notion that you and I are quite similar (in a non freaky, im in your bathtub like a Brad Pitt stalker kind of way) ....(that parenthesis doubtfully reassured you of my sanity)... but anyway, you are a gorgeous writer and I feel like we're working out of the same brain sometimes. Although yours has a more timely wit sensor than mine. Sadly I only think of funny little remarks around two hours after they are required, and end up snorting from my own jokes alone in public. Singledom is not quite puzzling in my book.

Anyway, here's my question dear;

Do you think it's ever possible to fall madly, inexplicably in love, even when you're hearts been broken too many times to count? Or do you think the gig is up?

I'm debating the question myself, and if I come up with an answer soon, I'm thinking about spending my retirement on a hot Cuban pool boy and calling it a day.

Happy early Bday and please dont ever stop this blog.

I really love reading the newspaper, especially the physical version and especially the New York Times (although I live in D.C.). Do you have a favorite newspaper?

Often people who are writers (or good ones or famous ones) are portrayed as or describe themselves as outsiders (which is how they are able to observe). You don't strike me as an outsider. Was there a time that you were or is there an aspect of you that is an outsider, watching events as a third party even as you are in the thick of it? Or do you think it's more the storyteller aspect; that you are able to recount events with wonderful flavors?
