Heather – I am so sorry to hear about this. (I had missed your move back to thisfish.com, so had missed you from my reader. All caught up now) My apartment was broken into about 6 months ago, so I know the violated feeling. And the shock and dismay when you get to your door and things are not right inside. I’m so glad you have DL and Hal there with you. Thinking of you all.

Holy crap is all I can say. Actually, I am sorry as well. I keep with with your blog regularly but had emergency surgery and just had a chance now to catch up, and …well…damn.

Oh doll, I know that I am late finding this out, I have been away for too long. I am so sorry that this happened to you. I hope that the police are doing all that they can. I have a security background, and so does my husband. We would be more than willing to give you some advice on securing your new home. I thank the stars that you have found a house, some where you can start new, and hopefully feel safe. You can feel free to email me, if there any questions you have. Again, I am very sorry and very angry at these people for you, it just breaks my heart.

My heart goes out to you and DL. I hope they find the jerk who violated your sense of safety. I know it’s just “stuff”, but I personally would be inconsolable, and I sincerely hope that your losses are recouped. Hoping an abundance of good luck comes your way very soon…
