You may get some funny looks if you start "hiking" around Dallas with one, but it certainly makes me feel safer to have a can sitting on the night stand ready for a human intruder, instead of a little pencil pepper spray. And I know I'm not the only female here who feels that way . . . just a thought, ridiculous as it sounds!
