Unfortunately, I was the one throwing the New Year's party and at about 10:30, I started sneezing, feeling miserable, and wishing everyone would just go home (not that I didn't dearly love all the guests). When they finally left, I curled into a ball and wished to sleep for the next 3 days ... except I had to pick up my dear daughter from her grandma's house.
