The only benefit to repeated barfing is weight loss and I can't believe I'm saying this but the last time I had stomach flu I was quite impressed with the (unexpected) end result. That said, I would rather be grotesquely fat than ever suffer through nausea again. I loathe nausea...it's gotta be one of the worst sensations in the world. When it happens to me, I get down on my knees and pray for mercy. Pathetic isn't it?

The kitty thing-My kitty was the same way until she discovered that it was much more amusing to watch me choke when she curls up on my face while I'm sleeping-then we can bond while we both hack up hairballs

Word on the lavender. My wife hung one of those lavender air-freshener thingies on the rear-view mirror and I had to drive around with all the windows open in the dead of winter to keep from puking. Well, OK, it wasn't that bad, but lord, it wasn't good.

Cedar. Cedar works. Or pine. Can't say about eucalyptus ... have one in the yard, but it doesn't smell like much of anything.
