EXACT SAME THING! Mo-fo! It was awful! As soon as I got home I got on the phone calling this person and that person, and everyone denied responsibility- ultimately the said that the handlers at the airport were at fault and that the airline doesn't handle the bag so they have no responsibility for any damage- and that they don't reccomed you ever check expensive items like computers anyway, and therefore you "assumed the risk". </p><br /><br /><p>Yeah, I didn't get anything out of it. I was pissed. But my computer still ran fine (Mine had an actual HOLE bashed into it) so ultimately, I just lived with the damage until I had something else go wrong with it, and then made dell fix it under my (renewed) warranty with (newly acquired) accident insurance.</p><br /><br /><p>Grrrr.</p> The SAME fricking thing happened to me with Southwest!!!!!!
