One of the lists I keep (I've told you about those lists, right?) is the Things I Love list.
So here it is (an excerpt, anyway), taken from post-it notes I leave to remind myself of the little joys in life:
The Things I Love
Broccoli
Q-tips
My appendix scars
Scruffy faces
The smell of laundry
Nicknames
Earlobes
Sugar free Jell-o
Geese
Lullabies
Babies’ feet
I Can’t Believe it’s Not Butter
Barbie
Shoes
Mr. Rochester
Kitten
Mud in my toes
Being needed
Annie’s Song
Bad Reality TV
Apple peels
Target
Attention
Little black dresses
The word “voluptuous”
Gap jeans
Being remembered
Dental floss
Tom Selleck
Wind chimes
Tweezers
Feeling understood
My walk-in closet
Hazelnuts
Kisses
Freckles
Nap time
You forgot to add Rocco Yamamoto.
Posted by: a different me at November 25, 2003 08:19 AMYou have a walk-in closet?! Kick ass! I realized last night the house I live in has NO extra closets (no hall closets, no coat closet, no basement closets) - basically no "hidden" storage at all.
Well, there's an attic but no one's been up there yet.

Posted by: sas at November 27, 2003 01:48 PMI love barbie too. She's really cool, but do you ever find it embarassing as a feminist type? Or would you not call yourself that? (I do, but sometimes folks find Barbie a little hard to reconcile....) I dunno. I have four of them now and want more.
