Just a quick note to acknowledge the baby gifts that have arrived – bottles from Sarah S. and a baby bath tub, wash cloths, towel and sleepers from Jennifer. Thank you – you guys are just so awesome! I feel like I’m going to spend a great deal of time telling Charlie about his Internet Aunts one day. You didn’t have to bathe in the roasting pan because of a very nice lady who lives far, far away who didn’t even know you. It will be like his own personal fairy tale.
You should tell Charlie that he has an aunty far far away in Siberia, who would love to send him presents!:)
Siberia – for real? Oh, wow!
Yep!been reading your blog since 2006
Yay!! Presents!!
If (just saying, if) there are additional secret-fairy godmothers lurking out there, where would they send their gifts? (One would think us fairies would have the magical ability to just know such things, but my wand must be having issues)
We do have a registry here (http://www.target.com/baby/registry/PRHdIKvsNnv1u8ViHAag8w) but since I know you of old, I’m happy to send you my home address if you shoot me an email
I just put through my giftie order to Charlie, and no option for card or even indication of sender came up…but I don’t want to tell you what I bought because it’s a surprise! In any case, I want a picture of him wearing it!
Ha! Okay. I’ll keep an eye out!
HA! I sent Fish the same type of email yesterday, Barbara! There wasn’t an option to send a little congratulatory note. Sooo, CONGRATS (again)!
Glad you posed this, Rz; I was feeling a bit needy
Barbara, your comment made me snort. It’s okay to be needy. You’re among friends.
*YOU* were feeling needy?! You should’ve seen *me* when I realized one of my packages to her got five-finger requisitioned by some less-than-scrupulous person en route to her. Panicked, late-night needy blog reader email alert!
I agree! I expected to be able to write a note to the entire Fish family…
Very cute registry choices!
I have to point out though (as a friendly long-time blog reader) – not all newborns fit the newborn size. My 7 & 8 pounders were filling up 3-month sizes within a week or two, and had to be squeezed into several tiny gift outfits just for a quick thank-you photo.
My baby girl never fit NB! She went right into 3m.
