Was supposed to work late again, but instead, spent yesterday lounging in sun on back porch, eating ice cream cones and sleeping day away in v. comfy bed. Still don’t feel rested, somehow. Though, that may be attributed to fact that went to 9:45 showing of Matrix Reloaded with a few friends and Boy #2.
RK has yet to forgive yours truly for last week’s veterinary encounter in which she was deprived of her womanhood. Is back to hiding under furniture and making mad dash from windowsills when hears approaching footsteps. Am back to being kitten mother failure.
Have not made it to the gym in a week and am feeling lethargic and just plain icky. Will force self to go back tomorrow.

I bet RK will return to her less-reluctant self soon. It’s a big operation, but time and TLC will make her forget the whole thing. Uterus? What uterus?
poor kitty. but hey, if my mother wasn’t expecting grandkids, I’d do the same. periods suck.

..and I apologize for that. caffiene makes my fingers twitchy.
when my kitty got fixed, her personality definately changed to become more reclusive. she was back to close to normal after a while, but never quite the same.
tuna fish juice.
and she will be your snuggly kitten once more.
Want me to come over and beat RK into submission? I tried it on our cat and it worked great. He stopped giving me those smarmy looks all the time. He thinks he’s so much better than all of us.
BUT ALSO HE’S SO MUCH CUTER THAN ALL OF US!
I’m sure RK will come around soon. It took my friends cat about 2 weeks, but she loved attention to much to be mad for long. Not to mention she’ll thank you soon enough. Geez without my monthly friend, I’d send you roses. I guess its a little different for kitties though. C’est la vie.
RK will come around. It just takes girl kitties awhile longer.
When we got Hobbes fixed lo, these 16 years ago, he came home from the vet, stepped out of the cat carrier and tried to sit down. He visibly winced, got up, took a few steps, tried to sit again, winced, and so on. He thought the problem was the floor, and it took him a half-hour to figure out otherwise, poor guy. But he was back to normal a few days later.
