Happy Andrew Dan-Jumbo Day!
While am not about to start lobbying to make today a national holiday celebrating the ever-so charming, tool-belt wearing carpenter from While You Were Out, am not opposed to dedicating this fine, sunny day to such a deserving chap.
As have been right poor lately, have been taking in hours and hours of home redecorating reality TV as means of passing time til payday (15 hours to go). Must say that Andrew is my favorite part of being poor. After a quick internet search found that ADJ has his own FAN page, complete with fan mail address. Simply had no idea (though it’s completely justified) that he had such a following. Will refrain from sending him fan mail, as am not the sort to do so. But… if this gal were to send a fan letter, it might go something like this…
Dear Andrew,
I never write to celebrities (unless of course you count that letter to Natalie Portman. But that was only to tell her that her panties were showing at dinner. Or that her dog is extraordinarily ugly. Or that one to ask Lisa-Marie Presley if we can hang out cause her anger really gives me the giggles. But I digress), but since it’s Andrew Dan-Jumbo Day, I thought it only fitting.
You’re adorable. Yeah, yeah, tool belts are hot, yadda yadda… I’m sure you hear it all the time. That’s not what I’m getting at. You’re positively charming. You work with that annoying woman (I don’t need to say who; it’s pretty obvious) but you keep your cool. You didn’t even staple-gun Teresa to a 2×4 when she wouldn’t get off your back about the cell phone. But the laugh-out-loud, oh-my-god-he’s-unstoppable moment came when you asked to Puja if she’d consider an arranged marriage with you. You said you had a dowry. You meant your expansive collection of tools. My dirty mind went elsewhere, but that’s not the point.

*dies laughing* I LOVE Andrew too! I didn’t realize how many women in this world loves him. I recently had surgery and have been down in my back for months now (even though I’m only 22 years old). The only thing that really makes it worth while is watching Andrew on While You Were Out. And let me just say, I think that Andrew’s real arch neimisis is Chayse Dacota. *lmao* She always seems to make him crazy.

I have to agree with all of you who thing adj is a hot babe. I went to a Southern Womens’ Show in Jacksonville Florida today 10/23/03 and had to honor to meet him there. He is just as sweet as he is a babe. I got a picture of him with his autograph and took plenty of pictures of him. Fortunately I got there early and was able to get a front row seat. I even got to put my arms around him. It felt ooooooooooooooooooooooh soooooooooooooooo good. My girlfriend was with me so she took two pictures of him and I. Now, many of you may not believe this, but he actually asked me if I was married. His autograph read like this, “HI, Nora My #1 Fan…..and sexy too….Andrew. I thought I was going to faint. I couldn’t stop shaking. I felt like a teenager all over again. It was the most amazing day. I just wished I could meet him again. By the way, I asked him if he had a fans club, but he said he didn’t any longer. I really couldn’t ask him everything I wanted cause there was a long line behind me and I didn’t want to get beat down by all the other women who were still waiting to see him too. Ladies, it was so great getting to meet him. One lady asked him is him and chase were dating and he said they weren’t. He said they are just friends. I’m not naive, but he did seem pretty sincere about it. Anyhow, I just thought I’d share this with other women who are as crazy about Andrew as I am.

I agree with Bumbelarina and am shocked that I am even writing anything. I have asked myself is it his looks, his voice , his build, his height,the accent, what is it that appeals to me the most? My answer is of course the combination of all of those things but also I love the chemistry between he and Leslie. I love the fact that he doesn’t take himself too seriously. As far as he and Chase, my read on the situation is that he really doesn’t care for her too much. He seems like a guy who would be fun to go out and have a beer with.
i most definately agree with fish. andrew dan-jumbo is possibly the yummiest man on the planet. i also think that he and chase just don’t work well together (on the hook-up level), she’s just a little too uptight.

I have watched and taped “wywo” for many years. I truly believe Andrew & Teresa should be together. I know are going to say i’m obsessed when I say this but I have already chosen a name for thier daughter: Andresa. I came up with it myself , as you can guess it’s a combination of Andrew & Teresa.

Andrew and Chase DID have a thing at one time (Evan revealed this on an October show), but it, whatever it may have been, is no longer.
It is my personal observation that the new carpenter, Jason, is only on when Chase is designing a room, making room for gossip that Chase and Andrew can no longer work in peace together? Just something I have observed, don’t know for sure.
