in vino veritas

I know it’s late, and I’m a little bit drunk, but seriously, how much do you want to make Uncategorized

(Hi Heather! First time posting, but I’ve been reading and loving your blog for over a year.)

I’m totally with you on the Tim Gunn thing. He’s like half the reason I watch Project Runway. I just want him to kiss me on both cheeks and tell me to “make it work!”

  • i have to agree! he was on a rerun of oprah this week and i actually thought, “i wish tim gunn would move to halifax and be my friend” … not only for the fabulous fashion guidance, but when i am feeling blue and stressed nothing would shake me out of it better than “make it work!”

I love Tim Gunn too! His voice is what gets me.

  • I agree 110% – I love Tim Gunn. As I watched his new show last night all I could think of was him coming to my house and making my closet work for me!

I feel I have no fashion sense.

  • ME too! I contemplated dressing horribly for like 6 months, but I don’t think I could put myself through that.

  • I heart Tim Gunn!

I missed the show last night, but if the commercials are any indication, I’m going to love it.

I say the same thing about Stacy and Clinton on WNTW, I wish I were desperate enough for the 5,000 dollar check card!

The Random Muse has a Tim Gunn bobble head! How cool is that!

I often say “Designers..” to a group of friends to get their attention. I heart Tim Gunn!

I want to make Tim Gunn my boyfriend/husband. I mean, if he was my boyfriend/husband, I know I’d get an honest answer to “Does this make me look fat?” and he’d tell what would make me look skinny and in a very nice way! Now that I would appreciate.

Oh, how I totally agree. I’m like *this* close to being enough of a fashion disaster to warrant an appearance on his show. The truth is, I think it might even be worth it; I mean what’s a little public humiliation a la camel toe or clothes no 31-year-old should be wearing if you get those wrap dresses when you’re done!

What happened to Tell-All Thursday? I missed it :(

I’m a little bit not in the mood right now, Jessie. Maybe next week.

“in vino veritas” — best saying EVER! Have truer words ever been spoken?

I once heard about a monastery in Spain that made wine. They had a saying enscribed on the wall, can’t recall it exactly, but the general gist is this: Wine makes you sleepy. The more you sleep, the less you sin. So drink more wine!

    Cheers to that!

    Completely understood!

No pressure…certainly don’t mind the trivia either :)

  • As much as I love “What Not to Wear” it’s time to for Tim to shine in all his designer glory.

Michelle – i have this up in my kitchen … my English version says:

“Drink wine, and you will sleep well. Sleep, and you will not sin. Avoid sin, and you will be saved. Ergo, drink wine and be saved.”

    :)

I’m so with you on this. But let’s be serious: I’d be happy playing in a pile of shoes with or without Tim Gunn. He’d make it even better, for sure, but…

    too funny!

I consider myself fortunate to have caught the rerun of his premier. Wow do I love that man! Is this why people get addicted to Project Runway? What a dear dear soul. I have a large non sexual crush.

  • Love Tim Gunn! Just caught his show, I want him to do my shopping for me from now on. I insist.

  • I truly could not love him more.

And my teenage daughter IS tragic enough to be on his show, but I can’t find anyway to apply for it. And we’re even in the Metropolitan area! Damn you, Bravo!

  • I KNOW. Me too. I really want Tim Gunn to be my personal shopper. Although, I’m ok with Stacey and Clinton too… :)
