On Friday evening, I will be tired (we arrive at 7AM Friday morning), and a glass of wine or two is bound to turn making it my bed into quite the effort. So, in an attempt to keep an effort from turning into an ordeal, Friday’s London Meet-up will take place at the King’s Cross Holiday Inn bar.
I know. Boring. But you’d be much less impressed if I fell asleep face down at the bar. I promise.

Can you give us the link to your travel blog? I know that you said the two would be separate, but I enjoy following this blog and also happen to really like to travel….so perhaps I could blend Fish w/ learning about new and fun travel tips.
The travel blog launches very soon – don’t worry, I’ll throw up a link! It’s ready to go, just needs to move to a new server before I can make it public.
This Friday? What time? (no point camping outside the hotel right?
)
I would be throughly impressed by such an occurrance. Face dives aren’t as easy as they look. I’m sure yours is graceful, like a bald eagle saluting America. Mine is more like a hippo, trying to get in a Miata.
Karan, time is posted. reading is fundamental.
I would offer to give you a piggyback ride back to our room, but I think that is a disaster waiting to happen (alcohol/exhaustion/me being my generally stupid self). Might be funny though!
Actually, Jenni, I just added that for those who hadn’t seen the original post.
Whoops, didn’t see that earlier. My bad!
Ok, look I know you will be tired, but the Kings X Hoiday Inn – sweetie, you’re in one of the the 3 great cities of the world…you gotta do better than that!! Look whats say I turn up, and we go somewhere a mere 5 minutes walk from the Hol Inn, which will give you a much better flavour of LDN, plus won’t rape your wallet every time you go to the bar.
Game?
Ack. I’m sure you didn’t mean to sound condescending, but this sweetie has been to London, tasted the flavor and seen the sights. If people don’t want to join me at this less-than-appealing locale, I’m okay with that. But I’m in town for one day and that’s it , and I care loads more about meeting people than I do experiencing anything unique.
Plus, and this is just a guess, but I’m fairly certain there are more than three great cities in this big old world.
Waaaaaaaa!
I wanna come. I don’t care that it’s ‘just’ the Holiday Inn.
But I can’t come. Poo. Wee. I have to get up and drive to a wedding the next day.
Hope it’s lovely, Fishy.
I will be there!
