    i’m in! wink.

  • Oy! Peanut! What about some love for the Tribe and a mention of Miss Shiv’s show (www.theshivs.com) that same night, 10 pm at Siberia Bar (40th bet 8/9)? That’s where the REALLY cool kids are going for your afterparty, right? (grin)

  • She has a great earthy voice.

  • Makes me wish I lived in New York…. Providence will be quite a hike. but oh how I wish I could.

I love her voice. Being in Indiana, I have trouble finding new music. (North Vernon, IN. Look that up on the map. Blink and it’s gone!) Thank you for all you share with us.

  • you first, biscuit.

NEW YORK (AP) — An attempt to raise the world’s largest ice pop in a city square ended with a scene straight out of a disaster film — but much stickier.

The 25-foot-tall, 17 1/2-ton treat of frozen Snapple juice melted faster than expected Tuesday, flooding Union Square in downtown Manhattan with kiwi-strawberry-flavored fluid that sent pedestrians scurrying for higher ground.

Firefighters closed off several streets and used hoses to wash away the sugary goo. Some passers-by slipped in the puddles, but no serious injuries were reported.

Snapple had been trying to promote a new line of frozen treats by setting a record for the world’s largest ice pop, but called off the stunt before it was pulled fully upright by a construction crane.

    Ummm…are you okay?

    Monsieur Dragon-

Indeed, a fine point, though as Linus timelessly (paraphrasedly) observed:

“There are three things you don’t discuss with people: religion, politics and the Great Popsicle.”

Ahh, Andy The Lightbulb Eater- there must be a good story behind that one.

Fabu voice, great songs. Wish I was not 600 miles away.

  • I wish I could go, but I’m in the recording studio. Could you please tell Elisa to break a leg from me. I’ve known her for a while. Thanks and have a great time!

do you ever worry that since you dont use a pseudonym, that the folks at work might look at your blog, and note the time of the posts, and then say “wow, i am glad we are paying her to update her blog while on the clock”.

i always wonder if bloggers have to deal with those types of inquiries in the workplace.
