how babby is formed

This is Penny. Penny is very busy with the drooling and the forming of new chins. And also with the rolling over and the wearing of ruffles on her bum. She is also quite occupied looking exactly like my brother, especially when angry. Or hungry. Or, you know, farty. We’re holding out hope that she inherits her mother’s blue eyes.

This is Owen. Asleep on Owen’s stairs. Featured with the collection of Things Owen Likes to Throw Down Owen’s Stairs. There’s no frying pan down there this time, but only because his mother needed it to cook with. Owen will sleep anywhere. But only when it is not your suggestion, like say, when you are worn the hell out because he NEVER SITS STILL. Oh, no. Not then.

Photos by their mothers.

Adorable kids! But if I were Penny, I’d be staging a rebellion against fussy, itchy dresses & headgear. Tulle & net are not baby friendly materials. Did she later remove and gum/drool the headband to pieces?

    How absolutely precious.

The dress was much softer than it looks – and honestly, I don’t think she minded getting all dressed up for the wedding. But yeah, the headband, she didn’t like so much.

    AWESOME!

    Thanks for sharing. :)

I love how kids go and go and go until they just fall asleep where they stand.

Its exhausting work making sure gravity is still working – and works the same on frying pans, spatulas and large plastic tupperwares. Good thing Owen’s stairs don’t end in a wood or tile floor!

My favorite part is how the bottom of Owen’s adorable little foot is dirty. Because I’m sure he has run everywhere and is too busy for socks/shoes.

  • Ooh what are the hateful comment trolls going to post on this one?? I think you might have won this round :) These kids are too cute for anyone to be mean to you.

    Way too cute!

Owen reminds me of my own Captain Chaos (yeah, I stole that as soon as I read it!). I’m dying to know if he’s wearing the same Baby Gap ‘I DO MY OWN STUNTS’ shirt as mine! ;-)

  • They are 2 of the cutest children ever! I think Owen will be some kind of scientist when he grows up because it seems like he wants to see how things fall and bounce/not bounce down the stairs.

  • H to the l cute. Love the making of more chins and drool. Want to munch on newie babies now.
