sweet, sweet surrender

Am v. v. bad neighbor. Bad, as in vindictive.

Upstairs neighbors have zero problem blasting music at 11:30 at night, with regularity. And, although am open to all sorts of music, am not inclined to appreciate Rob Zombie after the hours of say, 9:00. Just don't have it in me.

Do have it in me to reciprocate by sharing my love for John Denver with them. At 7:00 in the morning. After a good early morning yoga session, combined with fact that am, contrary to upbringing, a morning person, feel like singing along to some wholesome, in-touch-with-nature, feel-good music.

So not punk rock.

Good morning, fellas. You feelin' that sweet surrender? Boy howdy, I sure am.

Ooh! Next time, do "Calypso"! That dee-dee-dee crap sounds like screaming when repeated often enough.

That one line in "Country Roads" about incest really haunts me ...

"mountin' mama, take me home ..."

just wanted to tell you i thought of you today while in school--one of my profs (actually, the one i'm madly in love with) used your "fish needs a bicycle" quote. i totally smiled a secret, knowing smile. :)

aw rock on, fish. I'm so NOT a morning person.. ugh.

..and uh, Texas, wouldn't that be "mountain mama"? I could be very wrong as I haven't heard the song in awhile, but I thought the song was about the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Rob Zombie. UGH! You have my utmost sympathies. You might also try a little Charlie Parker full blast say a little earlier...6:30? The thing is...they probably slept through your revenge. Best to find a way to axe their electricity.

best way to get em at their own game is stick the speakers on a table against the wall. sound then travels upwards w/ a lot better clarity, but then again the neighbors beside you will get pissed. if your not inclined to get them upset w/ you as well it's best to quardinate attacks w/ them. i'm sure if your really inclined to get even w/ the nice people upstairs you can get the two appartments beside you in on it and throw one good, early morning coffee party, say 5 am? (or earlier) depending on when your neighbors have to be to work and how long it takes them to get ready, you could have a really good time of it. and w/ other neighbors in on it your less likely to get in trouble w/ your landlord.

naw, i've never done that. really!

just a thought
cheers
kat
