And one last thing. I hope you got a delivery yesterday. I didn't sign the card but I got to thinking that maybe once you found out who sent them, you'd be disappointed, so I'm fessing up.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed just knowing that someone loves you, and that really, any number of people could have sent them, so really what I wanted you to know is that you are loved.
Mom
Being loved really rocks my face off.
Moms are awesome! Somehow they just know when their baby needs a little pick me up....
Posted by: Kristin at January 7, 2005 12:33 PMThat is a REALLY cute message. Yay for your mom!
Posted by: angelix at January 7, 2005 12:49 PMAnonymous flowers are theee best. I've been getting flowers from God-only-knows-who out of the blue for about 4 years now. Sometimes it'll be almost a year between deliveries, while others happen every couple of months. It's the greatest kind of unanswered question.
Posted by: Bond Girl at January 7, 2005 12:57 PMholy freaking crap now i love your mother more than i did when she totally hugged all of us after meeting us.
Posted by: K at January 7, 2005 01:02 PMNever met, but adore the woman. That was too sweet.
Posted by: Ari at January 7, 2005 01:06 PMSweetie, what's your mum's addy? I think I want to send HER some flowers. That's just a lovely thing to have heard about in the midst of a stressed-out day.

getting flowers from mom and men are two different things. from mom is more special because it's so not expected and she doesn't expect anything back. from men, well, you know what they expect, specially after the chocolates, right? but really, your mom rocks :)
awe, what a good mommy. my mom rocks my face off, too. can't wait to hear more about the law dog... i've been wondering! have a great weekend!
Posted by: red at January 7, 2005 04:43 PMI'd like to borrow your mom for a few months.
I could use a nice gesture like that, about now.
That is sweet! Moms knows best. All those not answering the phone days you have had. She knew you needed some encouragement.
Awww! Come and give me a hug! *L*
