aligning the planets

Did NOT get to see Mars last night. Was somewhat disappointed but still had v. nice evening with good pals and good food. Even got to see (finally) second Lord of the Rings flick… and subsequently have nightmares base on horrendous battle scenes. Which is hardly surprising, though, as yours truly had nightmares after watching particulary scary scenes in Monsters, Inc.

Will attempt to see Mars again this evening. Perhaps even taking J on his offer to make trip out of city, away from lights, for such viewing.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! What?? Danger, Will Robinson!

That’s just my initial reaction. May you see red planet.

  • Whatever, girlie. It’s your heart he stomped on.

  • how exciting. i hope you guys get back together.

  • Fish

Ack! I do not hope we get together!! Ack ack ack. I’m a silly girl but I’m not that foolish!!!

  • Someone needs to either point Hubs to the archives, or give him/her a little slap upside the head.

If you do go, have fun! But, preface with warning: “J, if you touch me, I’ll cut you.”

    That should do it.

    Methinks Hubs was being snarky.

  • it’s that damn Mars (or so they’re saying). Mars is the god of war. Fishy want to go a-warring?

  • Moire

What happened to IRB? Just wondering if he’d be going with you and J to catch a peek at Mars.

    One can only hope.

  • I’m with Michael on this one ‘there be monsters…’ Fish. Be careful! And Moire has a good questions what happened to steamy cab rides with that hot IRB?

  • Iferlynn

d’oh! don’t do it fish, back away slowly, make no sudden moves, now get on the horn and dial IRB. Mars will look 10 times better with ANYONE other then J! jmo.

You know if you look just to the right of Mars you can see Uranus! LOL I couldn’t resist, sorry.

  • Here’s some non-advice: Happy viewing!

  • i’ve been around since the begining anne. a slap up side the head will do nicely thank you.

They get us all excited about seeing these planets/stars but they are still such a long way off, still specks in the sky, if brighter ones. I dunno…can’t get cranked about a planet I have no powerful telescope to look for. I guess that makes me unromantic?
