Happy T-bird day!
(Disclaimer: This applies also if no T-bird is present, in either the fowl or automotive sense, providing that celebrations are being engaged in, regardless of whether these celebrations are directed toward a deity or to secular concerns, and whether or not revelry takes place in the presence or absence of food. Thank you.)

Posted by: janna at November 24, 2004 09:39 PMIf only I could make eating with chopsticks look so effortless! You can spot my intense concentration (and lack of coordination) from across restaurants.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Fish!
Posted by: Aly at November 24, 2004 10:47 PMYummy, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Japanese for Thanksgiving would be scrumptious. Of course, it's very difficult to make the necessary stuffing and cranberry sauce work well with Sweet and Sour, the spicy dish, Chicken or sushi. And the chopstick trouble. Oh well.
Posted by: joe at November 25, 2004 01:37 AMDang it! We've already celebrated Thanksgiving up here in the north. I'm going to have to marry an American: double the holidays, double the fun.
All the best to Fish and all her loyal readers. May your thanks exceed your regrets and your lives be as full as you bellys.
Posted by: Coelecanth at November 25, 2004 12:10 PMThat'd be "your bellys", sigh.
Posted by: Coelecanth at November 25, 2004 12:11 PMI am sure given a chance the pilgrims would have eaten asian take out. Given the fact that it is california take out makes it that much better. I am sure they would not have minded the weather out there on the leftside either.
Posted by: B at November 25, 2004 02:51 PMAhh, Chinese food on a major holiday. You must be Jewish too. ;) Christmas just isn't Christmas without some lo mein.
Posted by: Keith at November 26, 2004 02:11 AMIs that Kosher? Hey fish while we are on the subject, HAPPY CHANUKAH!!!! Ya know a potato latke could pass as dim sum. Although it is pretty tough to navigate one off the plate and in your mouth with chop stix. You might have to use the pat. pending spear method.
Posted by: B at November 26, 2004 07:30 AMHere's hoping you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and wishing you the best for the rest of holiday season.
Posted by: Ursula at November 26, 2004 04:28 PMTough life!
Posted by: Steve at November 27, 2004 11:52 AMUmm, are you aware that you just told English-speakers outside of North America to go f--- themselves?
Posted by: Gopi at November 27, 2004 07:34 PMCome on guy. It isn't that harsh a statment and it's certainly in no way directed at non-americans.
Posted by: Gecko Fabulous at November 29, 2004 10:38 AMAnd you just told a bunch of Australians to get pregnant. I don't know which is funnier.
Posted by: NEIN at November 29, 2004 11:59 AMA beautiful girl with a beautiful nose just like mine.
