Future Features Finder (say that five times fast!)

I have a whole bunch of posts planned or already in the works (making/keeping budgets, rocktastic things to do with spray paint, WTF is up with my FICO score?), but eventually, I’m going to draw a blank. I will run out of ideas and then I will be PARALYZED with fear. Fear and loathing. So, I’m taking requests.

Is there something you’ve always wanted to know how to do?

Like, I’m about to drop a “Smokey Eyes for Girls Who Don’t Know Nothin’ about Make-up” (title, uh,  pending) because it’s something I’ve been too intimidated to master – and something my friend, Laura is really, really good at. Then I’m gonna share how to make a kick-ass chicken soup. Because (unless, of course, you’re of the vegetarian/vegan persuasion or you hate chicken. or soup), it’s a staple. And way easier than you’d think.

So much learning!

If you’ve got a particular request, hit me with your questions either by email or comments. And hey, if you want to share some of your  mad skills or be an interview subject, I’m wildly enthusiastic about that, too!

How about e-readers? Kindle, Nook (color or regular??), generic? Who works best with public libraries? What is this stuff about eyestrain?

I like the wedding planning tips and tricks…and budgeting information is REALLY great…and maybe a few reviews of different electronics? I’ve been contemplating an iPad…a review from someone that has one and uses it regularly might be nice.

What kind of help/tips for getting back in shape for working mommas of small children, small budgets and time limitations? Just a thought. Albeit, my current going on 3 year (ahem) predicament.

Have you thought about a travel section? Maybe “plan” different trips for the inept traveler. There a lot of people that don’t have the know how to smartly plan trips, especially outside the country. Maybe a weekly grammar section. Or, if you have any friends that might be interested in doing an advice column? Also, I like the idea of a cosmetics section, home remedies, how to do/make/buy/bargain anything. I love the chicken soup idea, just throw in some matzo balls to taste!

I love the travel idea! I’ve learned the hard way how to be a fairly kick-ass travel planner. And girl, you are next in line for a big, open mouth kiss with that grammar suggestion! Mama likey.

Granted this idea is totally stolen from my good housekeeping magazine, but it’s easily one of my favorite things to check out each month.
I’m big big big into organizing. I <3 the container store. Each month GH has a section on how to organize something in your house. LOVE IT
As a side note, they also have a "What should you be cleaning this month" section. Next time you're standing in the checkout line and you see GH, flip to this section and I promise it's probably something you've never thought of cleaning before.
