So glad its here!!! So since you arent the bacherlorette party type of girl, in keeping with your non traditional self create a Fish Style Bacherlorette party! Whatever that may be. A night of toe painting with your best friends or maybe a massage or whatever. ya know???
I had a “lingerie and dessert party” at a restaurant instead of a typical bachelorette party. I got to eat delicious peanut butter and chocolate pie and my now-husband reaped the benefits of the lingerie. It was very low-key and a lot of fun! )
With the work on the house that needs to be done before the wedding, there’s not even *time* for a party. Not that time is the real issue.
You probably won’t believe me when I say this (because it’s so contrary to what I do here on the interwebs) but I HATE being in the limelight. Being thrown a party or given gifts or having someone make a toast to me or about me – it all makes me extremely uncomfortable. Having my picture taken makes me feel nervous. Opening gifts while people watch AND take pictures? I would be trying not to break out in a cold sweat the entire time.
It’s one of the big reasons I never wanted a wedding. It’s why the one we’re having is only 60 people. And it’s why a bridal shower or a bachelorette party would be possibly the worst kind of torture imaginable.
GOOD NEWS!!!!
YAY!!
YAY!!!!!!!

THANK HEAVEN.
Yay!
Yay! Awesome news!
Is it enough fabric?
I have no idea. I hope, though.
I’ve got my fingers crossed for you. You could always use a plain organza for like, the underskirt or something if there isn’t enough.
Oh, and I don’t think I’m having a Bacherlorette party either. Unless it includes copious amounts of chocolate and chick flicks. And maybe sushi.
Unfortunately, the organza is already only the top layer. The underdress is satin. I guess we’ll see how it goes!
So happy for you!!
Wonderful!!!
Wait – we’re not doing the naked wedding after all?
Wooo-hoooooo! (You can’t see it, but I’m doing a happy dance…)
So very happy for you! Even a day early! I’ll be sending good vibes to your seamstress!
Ooooh – can’t wait for pics! (We DO get pics… don’t we?)
Thanks, Santa!
